Liverpool and Merseyside Peer Rope is a community-led rope-jam-style event held every other month. Events are held at Townhouse International, beginning at 1:30pm and ending by 5:30pm. They take place on the first Saturday of February, April, June, August, October, and December.

Soft drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks can all be purchased from behind the bar. Attendees are granted full use of the expansive and immaculate facilities, which includes a variety of great equipment, play rooms, and several suspension points!

Every event features our Induction Class for those completely new to rope, as well as our famous Beginnersʼ Class, for people who have completed induction and want to keep learning, or just want brush up their skills. This is a rope-only space, so itʼs also ideal for those who are looking to dip their toe in the water and arenʼt quite ready for the full-on Townhouse expeience.

A limited amount of practice rope and safety shears are available for loan on the day, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own rope where possible . We recommend a natural fibre rope, such as jute or hemp.

Those with a few more knots under their belts will be happy to know the rest of the venue is open for safe consensual play, following the usual venue rules. There will also be peer-led demos and workshops across the day.

Admission is a bargain at only £8 and you do not need to be a member to attend (but please bring photo ID, even if you are a member). You will also need to bring a £10 refundable deposit to access the locker room. This deposit must be paid in cash , but will be offset against your bar tab.
